Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical procedure that effectively treats disc-related lower back and neck pain using gentle intermittent digitally controlled stretching, which unloads and separates the joints of the spine, resulting in reduced pressure and rehydration of the spinal discs.

Utilizing the KDT Neural Flex Spinal Decompression Table, the SDT treatment begins with a series of sessions typically 3-4 times per week. Each session is approximately 8-15 minutes. In addition, cold laser therapy is applied as well to help reduce inflammation, enhance pain reduction, and promote further healing of injured tissues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Todd’s at Stow Family Chiropractic since December 2021. I was experiencing back pain for 3-4 years due to a lumbar disc bulge and spinal stenosis and it was affecting my day-to-day work and social life. I am a carpenter and have a labor-intensive job and after trying a couple of rounds of cortisone shots, nothing was reducing the pain enough that I could work pain-free.
